SO..I have to be a member of IPMS  and Your Chapter to attend your meetings?

 

Not at all...membership is not required.   We think it's a great idea to belong to IPMS

USA and our chapter, but it is not required, nor will you be made to sit in the back row!

 

I'm only considering building models.  What can you do for me.

 

Best of all you'll get honest encouragement, sincere help, and an enthusiastic reception...what you won't get is criticism, elitism and ignored.   Come and talk to us

and get guidance from those who were exactly where you are now once upon a time.

 

Do you have any other events than your meetings?

 

Sure...especially JAXCON.  Every February we host JAXCON, a modeler's dream place to

see others work, meet, learn, and shop our many vendors...and ....even enter our raffle for  a chance to win some pretty nice models for your own stash.

 

IF - I do come to the meetings am I expected to bring anything?

 

Yes... your interest, curiosity and enthusiasm for plastic models.    If you have a model to show off, discuss or ask questions about, please bring it along.
